Thatri Thatripun, a descendant of Phraya, loses everything when he is cheated by Satit, and his girlfriend Sasitorn leaves him. He meets his old friend Thatri Worapat, who is on his way to Phuket to receive an inheritance, but is seriously injured in an allied bombing raid. He asks Thatri Thatripun to impersonate him in order to receive his inheritance. The latter meets Rajit, Mr. Som’s niece, at the Somsongsaeng estate, and they receive half of Mr. Som’s inheritance. Rajit and Thatri develop secret feelings, but are at odds – Rajit mistakenly thinks Thatri is her uncle Thatri Worapun, while he does not feel worthy of her. Rajit and Thatri reconcile their feelings when Rajit’s ex-lover returns.

Problems arise when the real Thatri Worapan’s ex-lover, Srichan, comes to visit. And his ex-Sasitorn is married to Bundit, the Phuket district chief who finds out that Thatri is an impostor. To protect his identity, Thatri agrees to help Bundit investigate a pirate named Zhang Gong-Cheng. When Thatri’s identity is finally exposed, he is expelled from the mansion and returns to Chiangmai without seeing Rajit again. When your life is a lie, can love be real?
