What is the true nature of love? Does it really exist, or is it just a beautiful illusion that makes our hearts beat faster?

Saisamorn Suaysamer had high hopes of starring in a major romance movie, but unfortunately her mother and the director did not believe she had the acting skills for it. To improve her acting skills, the director decided to send her to the village of Tung Tarntanod in Phetchaburi province to learn about love.

A story about a confident and spirited young woman who is highly educated who ends up in the turbulent landscape of Tung Tarntanod village. Although Saisamorn has difficulty adjusting to the new way of life and working in a jaggery factory, she does not give up and instead learns about the different kinds of love that warm the heart and ease loneliness. There she meets Mana, the son of the village chief who owns a Palmyra palm plantation. Despite the stark contrast with her life in the city, Saisamorn adapts and learns about love from the villagers who surround her. Mana, who does not seem to be a man of love, fills the void in Saisamorn’s heart and changes her world. Their love for each other is sweeter than all the jaggery in the village, and the air is filled with the sweet scent of love.
